Announcing Bryan Born's Resignation
The Columbia Bible College Board of Directors is announcing their acceptance of Dr. Bryan Born’s resignation as President after serving ten years in the role. Dr. Born will continue to provide leadership for the College for this academic year, while a search is initiated for his successor.
Reflecting on his time at Columbia, Born made the following remarks: “It has been a great privilege and responsibility to have served God and his people for the past 18 years as both a professor and then as president. God has done amazing things in the lives of so many students.”
One of the more noteworthy developments during Born’s tenure was the development of the Applied Leadership major within the BA in Practical Theology track. Built on a solid biblical foundation, this major prepares students for a variety of ministry and career opportunities. According to Born, “Columbia’s mission of Christ-centred discipleship, ministry and leadership development is vitally important, and I am excited to see what God is going to do here in the years ahead.”
