IDIS 312 NT Backgrounds

This course introduces the historical, social, and religious setting of the Second Temple Period as it relates to the New Testament. The course utilizes an interdisciplinary methodology (literary, historical, sociological) to explore crucial aspects of Judaism which provided the setting for the New Testament literature.
