About this course
This course examines the key features and skills we use in communicating with others. Core components include foundational interpersonal communications theory; verbal and non-verbal communications skills; basic conflict management; group dynamics; and ethical interpersonal behavior. Skills such as speaking and listening, problem solving, and teamwork will be examined in relation to working in a school environment. The class will also look at communication in relation to supporting students with learning and social needs.
