About this course
This course explores the principles of local and international community development and draws upon the expertise of multiple organizations. Key areas of study include the evolution of development theory, factors underlying poverty and injustice, conflict and displacement, dependency, paternalism and sustainability. The course critically evaluates root causes of poverty and marginalization through a biblical lens and considers what solutions may exist.
