Gil Dueck
Academic Dean
Gil is inspired by young adults taking steps in their faith while discovering their gifts and abilities. He has worked at Columbia since August 2017, building off past experience in teaching, student development, and senior leadership. His doctoral work focused on faith development among young adults and sought to develop a theology of transformation. Gil is passionate about empowering students to serve and lead in their church communities. He loves reading, coffee, and conversation and nurtures a healthy interest in soccer and hockey. He and his wife, Shelley, are proud parents of three young adult daughters.
