EXPL 301-304 Internship

The internship course enables students to practice key areas of learning within their program major. In an approved placement context, students engage work-integrated learning through knowledge and skills practice and personal and social development, while pursuing vocational direction. Students develop personalized learning objectives that are met with 300 hours of supervised work alongside a series of reflective assignments. The Internship experience provides students with hands-on ministry training, which is an integral part of the learning process at Columbia Bible College.
Notes: Depending on the program, 3, 4, or 6 credit hours
Prerequisites: EXPL 202 Service Practicum IV, LDRS 101 Intro to Leadership Studies, and 75 hours of college credit; Internship Orientation.
Graduation Requirement: All students enrolled in one of Columbia’s four degree programs are required to complete an internship.
