About this course
You’re a down-to-earth dreamer. You want to change the world for the better – through business, through a local organization, or through your church. When you look around, you see people making a difference not just with compassionate work, but also with creative business ideas, solid financial plans, and compelling marketing tools.
The Diploma in Social Entrepreneurship introduces you to the basics of running initiatives that are focused on positive world change. You’ll take worldview-shaping biblical studies courses alongside hands-on business courses. But more than that, you’ll be inspired and equipped to tap into the incredible potential of business for making a caring impact in our world. You’ll graduate not just with foundational business skills, but also with a deep appreciation for the triple bottom line: business or non-profit work that’s financially viable, environmentally sustainable, and cares for others.

“Previous to CBC, my understanding of the role of one’s spectrum of emotions was limited, but through my experiences at school, I have come to comprehend the importance of vulnerability for authenticity and depth in relationships. As many of my friends and profs have expressed, “vulnerability breeds vulnerability.” This has helped me learn to value expressing my authentic emotions so much more and from this, I hope to implement this regardless of the community I find myself in.”
“I decided to enter the Social Entrepreneurship program for a few reasons. I have always been interested in business management, and when CBC presented me with the opportunity to study business in a way that integrated universal business practices with biblical teaching, in addition to offering me a captain position on the Bearcats Volleyball team, I decided to enroll. Overall, this program has been a great fit for my personal and career goals.”
